  • This 4-day Inka Jungle Tour is undoubtedly the most fun and interesting alternative route, combining mountain biking, hiking along with tropical crops and the most beautiful thermal baths in Cusco until we reach our final goal Machu Picchu. The Inca Jungle Tour 4 days is the preferred route for young people of age and soul-soul young people from all over the world who come to Cusco in search of an interesting and incomparable adventure on their way to Machu Picchu.
 

  • Itinerary

First Day: Cusco – Santa María: Biking

Pick up at 6:00 a.m. in the place indicated by the Travel Agency the day before the tour, then we will go to the Lo where we will have the first breakfast (buffet), then we will go in a private car (03.00 hrs) to the Abra Málaga (4,316 masl) ( 14,160 feet above sea level) starting point of our bicycle tour, after a breafing by our guide the passenger will be provided with the most complete equipment for this type of activity we will begin the descent by bicycle for 3 hours (55km ) to the town of Huamanmarca, Then we will go to the town of Santa María (30 minutes by car) where we will have our first lunch; We will spend our first night in a basic lodging, during the trip we will experience the beauty of the snowfall, quickly changing from dry and cold to hot humid weather. Once we arrive in Santa María we will have the option of doing Rafting class III and IV (extra tour) on the Urubamba river that crosses this part of the jungle.

Second Day: Santa María – Santa Teresa: Trekking

After a delicious breakfast, at 6:30 a.m. approx. We will be ready to do the first day of trekking to Santa Teresa. The first two hours of our tour will be on the rise, on the way we will have several stops to learn a little more about the wealth of flora and fauna of the area where we will be, one of them will be in a family house where we we will relax for about 20 minutes here we can also stock up on water and some delicious tropical fruits from the area, later we will cross a section of the Inca Trail that formerly connected the sacred city of the Machupicchu Incas with the city of Vilcabamba here our guide will explain a bit more of the history of the Incas and also the communication system that they had at that time, at this point we will also have some of the most impressive views of the entire Huancarccasa canyon after we descend to the town of Quellomayo where we will stop for lunch, after a delicious lunch and a restful rest in the hammocks of our restaurant we will continue with the last 02 hours of c Aminata until the thermal baths of Cocalmayo where we will have a good time to enjoy this very special place, after the thermal baths we will go to our final destination the town of Santa Teresa place where we will spend our second night in a basic lodging.

Third Day: Santa Teresa – Aguas Calientes: Trekking

After our breakfast, at 7:00 a.m. approx. We will begin the trekking towards the town of Aguas Calientes, first we will walk for 3 hours through the Aobamba valley to the sector called Intihuatana where we will pass in small control of the government then we will continue to Inka Rakay place where we will enjoy our lunch on this route we will see a series of waterfalls and we will also have the opportunity to contemplate the majestic Machupicchu and Haynapicchu mountains as well as the Intihuatana or solar clock that will be seen at the top of the mountain and other constructions of the Inca citadel of Machupicchu after the last 2 hours of walking will be next to the railway line to the town of Aguas Calientes.

Fourth Day: Machupicchu

This is the most important day of the tour the day we will arrive at one of the 7 wonders of the world, our last day of tour starts very early to appreciate the sunrise in the Inka citadel of Machupicchu, we will start the climb at 4: 30 am It will be 01 hour and a half walk to the citadel of Machupicchu and we will have a tour with our guide for 02 hours through the most important buildings and temples of this city afterwards you will have time to explore Machupicchu on your own and maybe climb the Huaynapicchu mountain or Machupicchu and other places of interest. Later it will be the return to the town of hot waters to be able to take the train back to Ollanta or Cusco.
